Personal Perspective

One appointment follows hard on the heels of the last, as soon as one task is done, two more are waiting. Large and small tasks are eating into your day. The complexity and pace of life leaves little time for awareness of and clarification of your own goals and plans for life. Is this how your life looks?

“Exchange daily routine for real life” – I’m inviting you to discover this credo for yourself.

Find out where your strengths lie, take decisions that have been on your mind for ages, open up and develop new perspectives for yourself – change yourself and at the same time change the environment round you.

Developing and Changing by means of Coaching

Through coaching I will support you, in a way carefully tailored to you, in your personal change process. Ideas for possible solutions as well as different approaches can be developed and tried out. Is this solution really for me? How does it feel if I act like that? What are the consequences of this or that approach? You can try out all these things in one of my coaching sessions and on the basis of your experience, make plans for their transfer into real life. Taking part in a coaching session is an ideal framework for the processes of clarification and solution finding. During these processes I will be at your side as a guide, to help you shine a light from various angles and perspectives on different questions, problems and challenges.

Possible Reasons

The reasons prompting someone to ask for coaching are as individual as the person themselves. The process of coaching can support and enhance many kinds of initial questions and challenges. Some possible reasons could be for example:

  • Desire to change and develop
  • Clarification of perspectives, goals and values
  • Dealing with challenging and critical situations
  • The need to make a decision
  • Reflection on and optimization of one’s own appearance
  • Dealing with stress and revitalizing personal and social resources

Methods

While running coaching sessions, I adapt my tools to the personal needs and character of my client and choose a method suited to the current request. My coaching process is characterized by the following approach:

  • Analyzing and structuring
  • Questioning and concretizing
  • Valuing and motivating
  • Developing and exploring
  • Giving feedback and adjusting
  • Implementing and following up

Process

A coaching process can be divided into three phases- a starting phase, a working phase and a closing phase. The working phase always includes orientation, analysis and intervention. The duration of the working phase is determined by the reason for coaching and the individual change process. The figure below indicates the structure of the process:
